FFXI Server Maintenance [2025-01-24]

We would like to inform you about an upcoming routine maintenance activity scheduled for our FFXI server.

End Time: 4pm ET
Expected Downtime: 2 hours

This routine maintenance is necessary to apply a patch to fix a bug with Summoner elemental pets. We will also apply other recent updates from LSB which will update the server for client version 30241227_0 or higher.

During the maintenance window, FFXI will be unavailable. Please ensure that you log out of the system before the maintenance begins.

Recommendations

Plan your activities accordingly to avoid disruption.
In case you have tasks that rely on Made to Raid's FFXI server, consider rescheduling them or completing them ahead of the maintenance window.

We regret to inform you that the maintenance/downtime for Made to Raid's FFXI server has been rolled back to the state before maintenance.

End Time: 9:45pm ET

Reason for Downtime: To patch some known fixes such as SMN pets not following their caster and to bump server version for newer clients.


Post-Maintenance Notes

There is a bug in LSB causing players to be unable to see each other under certain conditions. Pull request 6831 addresses this issue. We will perform another maintenance after the pull request is merged into LSB and we confirm it resolves the issue.

The SMN pet bug has been resolved and is live.
